About Me
Ellen Cochran is a recent graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's in Media and Journalism focused on digital production. She joined UNC Blue Sky Innovations in June 2022 as a UX Design Innovation Fellow and joined as a full-time staff member in May 2023.

Ellen has always loved telling stories, which led her to the Hussman School at UNC, but it wasn't until she began taking journalism classes that she discovered her passion for design. UX design in particular caught her attention due to its human-centered focus, as she found that it gave her work a deeper meaning.

At UNC Blue Sky, Ellen began utilizing her design skills as an intern. She has since taken on responsibilities relating to the organization's social media, website, and media campaigns.
